Tissue Paper Roses

Hello All! For the first craft activity we are going to make Tissue Paper Roses, which are a great decoration for all occasions.

You Will need:
-Coloured or silver tissue paper
-A saucer (about 12cm wide)
-A pen
-Scissors
-Sticky Tape
-Drinking Straws and/or thread

1st Step:Put the saucer on a sheet of tissue paper. Draw around it six times so you have six disks.
Then use the scissors to cut out your six disks.

2nd Step:
Place the disks on top of one another and push into the middle to make a cone.

3rd Step:
Pinch the tip of the cone together with your other hand and fasten with sticky tape.

4th Step:
Carefully separate the layers of paper to make the rose petals.

5th Step:Attach each rose to a drinking-straw stem with sticky tape , or thread them together to make a pretty chain of roses.
